Congratulations Ginny! More power to you – any tips for the rest of us? If that’s pushy, I apologise. But it’s thrilling and inspiring to read about you
I look forward to ‘Campaign for Love’

Hello Ginny, I have recently come across your short stories, and have really enjoyed them, especially Top Chef Negotiable (2006). You capture the feeling of the retirement home so well (my mother lives in one in Pinelands, Cape Town), and I loved the way Mavis developed and grew as a person. I too love writing and today emailed a story to the Peoples Friend. I live in Durbanville. Thanks for blazing the trail of NICE stories out of Africa. regards, Brenda.

Just a line to say how much I am enjoying your serial in the People’s Friend – Under and African Sun. I mentioned it in a letter to PF editor. I love your descriptions of the country.
    Best wishes

I always thoroughly enjoy your stories in YOU magazine and am very proud of your trailblazing successes in the overseas mags – its good to know that people who don’t live in South Africa are getting to know our country via a positive channel. I hope that one day I’ll be able to produce stories just as positive and popular as yours. Keep up the Good Work!!!

    I am Worried.

The ‘Wild Geese’ seem to control the short story franchise of most magezines; from south Africa to England.
    QA: What do you think??

Can a male make it in the (Ladies) world?

I belong to a writers group in a retirement community in SW Florida. Sheila Alcock, the sister of one of our (recently deceased) members is over visiting. Wednesday we are heading up to Sarasota as guests at another writers group. They wanted some background on Sheila and while I was online doing research I came across your work. I find it delightful. I think I will try to persuade Sheila to let me join the Wild Geese.
Instead of diligently working away on Sheila’s bio I’ve been enjoying your stories!

I justed wanted to let you know that I have chosen to use two of your stories, The Carpet King and Hidden Assests, for my independent reading project for my senior year. I really enjoyed both stories and I would love to talk to you about them. Pleas contact me.
    Keep the stories coming.

I recently read you short story about the sneaky salesman. I loved how you implemented sadness so well into the climax of the story and the ending was near perfect. I want to thank you for writing that story because i enjoyed it so much. Keep on with the fantastic writing!
